去年（2007年）の 5 月頃に買った16番ゲージを再開するきっかけとなった本。この本の「カワイモデル」の紹介記事を読んで、趣味欲が再燃してしまったわけで。
_ 再開のきっかけ
もう 20 年以上前に中断していた鉄道模型。再開のきっかけ「その１」は 、2005 年に小田急ブランドで発売された Nゲージ「小田急ロマンスカー3100形」。 まさかこんな車種が発売される時代が来るとは想定外。思わず購入（嫁さんはちょっとあきれたけど）。
これ以後しばらくNゲージを物色するようになったが、
- 生産数限定で販売されるものがほとんど。時期を逃すと購入はほぼ不可能（特に M 社製品）。
- それでいて発売と同時に中古販売店やオークションに転売目的で出品されてたりする。
- セット販売がほとんど。昔のように単品をちまちま買う楽しみがない。
という理由から、何となく小田急もの以外に手を出せずにいたところで に遭遇（きっかけ「その２」）。昔叔父の家で遊んだカワイモデルの16番ゲージ製品の思い出が蘇り、禁断の16番ゲージ再開（散財の日々のはじまり）。
